Six Months

Once again I'm in disbelief that my little baby guy is a month older and equipped with a set of new skills. He is a total pro at sitting up. He wants to crawl oh so bad, but he hasn't quite mastered scooting yet. He babbles like there is no tomorrow.

This little guy is the most amazing miracle. I don't understand how people can't believe in a kind and trusting Heavenly Father when he blesses this world with these precious, helpless, and adorable pieces of heaven. It just amazes more and more each day that my Heavenly Father trusts and loves me so much to have sent me Grant to raise and teach. I just love his little chubby face :)

We are looking forward to summer! We get to go visit Mor Mor and Papa in a few weeks for Papa's big 5-0! I can't wait to spend a few days soaking up some St George sun!!

Jeff is taking a couple summer classes. He has recently decided to start working towards Law School. It's pretty exciting because up until then he didn't really have any idea what he wanted to do.

All in all we are enjoying 'living the dream' as Jeff always says :)

Peek-a-boo

First off I need to complain about the weather! REALLY??!?! Why is there six inches of snow outside on April 5th? It's pretty annoying because I was just getting used to those nice long walks in between nap time.
Anyway now that I'm through with that complaint...on to the good stuff. The other day Grant finally played along with the "peek-a-boo" game. Before it was kind of confusing for him, but now he gets a kick out of it. I find myself doing anything 'silly' or 'goofy' to just get a little giggle out of him. There is nothing better than hearing his sweet little laugh! Luckily I had my camera close by and recorded the fun...Enjoy :)

5 Months!

Five months old! I am in total shock. I can't believe that I have been a mother to the most adorable little being in the world for five months now. I admit at times my patience has been tried, but I can't imagine ever being without my little guy.

He is growing so fast. We spent the last week in Saint George for spring break with my family. My Mom loved it! She fed him his baby food breakfast lunch and dinner everyday and I'm pretty sure he gained at least five pounds while we were there! He's on his way to be a linebacker for sure! It was such a fun week and we can't wait for another school break to head back down :)


We made a day trip to Vegas -so fun!

He is rolling over and even starting to scoot a little bit. We started feeding him baby food a few weeks ago and he LOVES it! I was sad at first thinking he might not want to nurse as much, but he hasn't slowed down AT ALL!


Jeff thought it would be funny to paint Grant with his sweet peas- it was hilarious!

4 MONTHS OLD!

Grew into this...



I can't tell you how amazing it is to be a mother to such a sweet little man. He fills my entire day with smiles and my nights with, not sleep, but more smiles. He is smiling at everything now. He tries to put anything and everything in his mouth...it's so endearing :). He also learned how to roll from his tummy to his back for the first time a few weeks ago (at kirstens wedding to be exact)

Anyway I love this little guy and am now obsessed with putting little video clips of him on youtube for his grandparents in Saint George to see...since they don't get to see him too much. If you want to check them out, just search 'arjrw' and all the videos should pop up. Well it's been such an amazing four months and I can't imagine my life any other way - sleepless and all :)

Kirsten and Devins Wedding

Devin and Kirsten were married on 2.5.10 in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was freezing cold day, but it was still a beautiful day. It was the best ceremony that I've ever been to. They are going to be a wonderful couple! After everybody was frozen from taking pictures outside of the temple we headed over to the church to help finish setting up for the reception. The cultural hall was transformed into a winter wonderland! It was amazing. They had an awesome hot chocolate bar with yummy bunt cake
(made by grandma mj) Tons of people showed up and it was so fun dancing and enjoying the night. I don't have any pictures of the bride and groom together (crazy, i know) but I'll find some soon and post them...they looked great! Little Grant was pretty cute too in his blessing tux and handsome blue bow tie! All in all the wedding was wonderful and I'm happy for the happy couple!! :)

Temple Night

So last night (Feb 3rd) Kirsten took out her endowments in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. She is such a sweetheart. It was so fun to be with her there in the temple. She is going to be such a beautiful bride and a cute little wife. I can't wait for her to start her life with her one and only and enjoy all the blessings of being married in the temple. Last night was also the first night being with Matt and Mike in the temple...which was also really neat. I wish I had some pictures, but we left in a hurry because Grant was pretty tired and hungry. I'll post some pictures of the wedding day though!
