one plus one equals.....

Two!! That's right people, I am pregnant yet again. We are super duper excited to have another little baby in our family :) I'm not due until March, but I can't wait to spread the news. Grant will be 1 1/2 when the baby arrives which we feel is a good spacing for our kids. So far I've been feeling pretty good. We are just sooo happy that we are able to have another little blessing!

Grant is just as cute as ever :) He's a handful, that's for sure. He has his two top teeth coming in which are just so cute. He is starting to bite though...which isn't cute at all. I love waking up to his cute little face every morning excited to see what he's going to surprise me with next!

We spent last week in Bear Lake with Jeff's family. It was so much fun. His sister Jana left for the MTC today to serve in the Denmark, Copenhagen mission and then his brother Mitch is leaving in a few weeks to serve in the New Mexico, Albuquerque mission. So we had a last family trip. It was so great to spend time in the sunshine by the lake. We went boating, which Grant LOVED! He loved the wind in his face. We did wake surfing, which is so much better than any other water sport (because it's so easy to get up and stay up!) We took a trip to the Minnetonka Cave which was pretty cool and just basically soaked up the sun.

The Sunday after Bear Lake, Jana and Mitch had a double farewell. Jana left this morning, but Mitch has a few more weeks. They are going to be great missionaries. We are going to miss them so much, especially when the new baby is here. Thank goodness for modern technology! We can email and exchange pictures so they won't miss too much.

I'm too lazy to put the pictures in order, but here are a few of our last week or so!! Love you all :)

8 months and sunny St. George

Grant is 8 months old now! It's so fun seeing his personality develop. He is such a busy body. He loves to climb on to everything and loves to eat whatever we are eating. No more baby food for him!!We were able to visit my family down in St. George this last weekend for the 4th of July! It was a blast. Matt and Mike proposed to their girlfriends...who so happen to be sisters! They are the sweetest girls and we love them to death. We are also excited to have Aiden as a part of our family too. He's such a cutie. It's going to be a double wedding (ho
w fun is that???) sometime in September or October...i think. Matt also gave Aiden a baby blessing on Sunday. It was sooo sweet. We love the Neve family and are so excited for the twins!!

I love KSL classifieds...

No, I didn't purchase this dress from KSL. It's actually a dress from Anthropologie that I bought off of eBay. I did however use the money that I made from selling some old things using KSL to buy this beauty. I can't wait to try it on...hope it fits :)

My life is now complete!

I love to try new recipes...and my favorite place to find those new recipes is the yummy blog Our Best Bites. Today I made Spicy Honey Chicken...my life is now complete. This is now my new favorite dish. Jeff isn't really a salad person so he just ate the chicken with potatoes. I on the other hand went all out and made the salad and dressing to go along with it...yummy! I wish we had left-overs because writing about it makes my mouth water! Another recipe we love from this blog is the Stuffed Pizza Rolls. Delish!! I've also made this Baked Chicken Penne- it's so good!! Try these recipes out and let me know what you think :)

7 months!

Grant its officially crawling. He is all over the place. He is a busy busy body. I love it! We have so much fun. He's such a stud. He has two teeth now and loves to use them!!

We went to St. George for what we thought was going to be a two day trip, but we had some car complications and ended up staying for two extra days...I didn't complain! It was so much fun. We celebrated my dad's 50th birthday. He is awesome. He doesn't look or act 50. I went to the gym with him while we were visiting and I could only keep up with him for 2 mins on the cardio machine! He's my inspiration. I took some great pictures of his birthday party weekend by the pool.

I got a jogging stroller (yay) last week. I got a great deal from a lady that was selling it on ksl. I've enjoyed getting back into running. I want to run a half marathon this summer in Park City, so we'll see how that goes. I'm trying to recruit friends and family to do it with me because running for that long is so much better with a buddy.

Jeff is taking a couple classes this semester. He is still looking into Law School...and I'm still pushing for University of Hawaii! How awesome would that be? I get all happy and excited just thinking of the possibility.

Six Months

Once again I'm in disbelief that my little baby guy is a month older and equipped with a set of new skills. He is a total pro at sitting up. He wants to crawl oh so bad, but he hasn't quite mastered scooting yet. He babbles like there is no tomorrow.

This little guy is the most amazing miracle. I don't understand how people can't believe in a kind and trusting Heavenly Father when he blesses this world with these precious, helpless, and adorable pieces of heaven. It just amazes more and more each day that my Heavenly Father trusts and loves me so much to have sent me Grant to raise and teach. I just love his little chubby face :)

We are looking forward to summer! We get to go visit Mor Mor and Papa in a few weeks for Papa's big 5-0! I can't wait to spend a few days soaking up some St George sun!!

Jeff is taking a couple summer classes. He has recently decided to start working towards Law School. It's pretty exciting because up until then he didn't really have any idea what he wanted to do.

All in all we are enjoying 'living the dream' as Jeff always says :)
