Christmas is here!

Grant as a 'Star Boy'
First of all, sorry I always add so many pictures. I figure whoever 'reads' this blog probably only looks at the pictures anyway :)
We had two family Christmas parties this last Saturday. The first party was for my mom's side. We had our traditional Santa Lucia program and had a delicious Swedish breakfast. Grant was in the program as a star boy and my cute little cousin was the Santa Lucia. It was so cute. We also had Santa Clause visit!

Then we had a party for my dad's side of the family. There was lots of good food and fun cousins. There was the traditional Nativity put on by the cousins. Grant was the only sheep this year. He kept pulling off his mask so I had him hold onto the shepherd cane to keep his hands occupied. Luckily he only had a 30 second role.

One year old!
Grant is just a little fire cracker. He is always going and going. Jeff taught him how to say how old he is. He gets so excited he forgets to answer and skips right to clapping for himself. His favorite toy right now is a balloon. He is a true boy. He screams everytime he sees basketball or football on t.v. and says 'ball' over and over.
Jeff is happy to have a break from school. He had a really busy semester, but he finished with a 3.95 which was awesome! He is doing an internship this next semester at the State Capitol during the legislative session and it'll count as college credit. He's really looking forward to that experience. Luckily he'll finish right before baby #2 is due. The time is flying by and I can't believe we are going to be a family of four in just 3 months!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

the park

Grant loves the park as do I. I love the area that we live in because there are at least four nice parks with in walking distance. Our favorite is Davis Park, because it's the closest and least crowded. Here are some pictures I took yesterday of Grant playing...it's was such a gorgeous day we decided that we didn't even need shoes!!

It's a...

BOY! I had an ultrasound yesterday and found out that we are having another little baby boy. We are super excited that Grant is going to have a brother to play with and that we don't have to buy any clothes! :) The baby is great and I'm getting bigger everyday. It's so much fun to sport a baby bump. I just love being pregnant, but I love having babies more!! Can't wait for March...so it better get here sooner rather than later!!

cutest lil lion

We had a fun Halloween. Grant was a little lion. I found his costume at DI for $3! I was ready to buy a lion costume from Baby Babinski for $30, but luckily I went to the American Fork DI  before and found his costume for 10% of the cost. Needless to say he'd look cute in anything, but he makes a stinkin cute lion!

THE BIG O-N-E!!

It's been one whole year since Grant was born. Everyone told me it would fly by, but I didn't realize how fast it would fly! It's been a great year and we had two great celebrations with family. There isn't much to say besides the obvious fact that he got SPOILED! I was pretty disappointed that he didn't dig into either one of his cakes like I was expecting him to do. It was still great though!!

So...I shouldn't try to make a business out of cake decorating

FREE BABY STUFF!!

So I just found an ad on KSL in the Free/Classifieds section for FREE nursing supplies at www.uddercover.com. Use the promo code "candie" So I just ordered a really cute nursing cover (because I never used one with Grant, but I always wanted one.) Anyway I just had to pay shipping!! Then it leads you over to another website for some more free things and I ended up ordering a cute baby sling...for free, again you just pay the shipping cost. Pretty sweet, huh? I know the companies make money on the shipping, but it's still a great discount...so if you are in need of baby gifts or need one yourself go check it out!!

Welcome Autumn :)

Happy that autumn is here for a little while. I love jacket weather and being able to go outside at noon without sweating to death. Since Grant starting walking we have been able to hit all the local parks. He loves the sand and swings. Besides rocks and balls Grants favorite things are books. He could sit on my lap and look at books all day. He loves looking at animals and cars. I think most of all he loves music. Every night before dinner we turn on some 'dance' music and let him go at it. He inherited his dancing skills from his parents (not something to be proud of) but he sure is cute trying. I'm now 17 weeks pregnant and feeling great. I am SO excited to have another little baby! I keep having daydreams about checking into the hospital and then cuddling my sweet little newborn. We find out in a couple of weeks what the gender of the baby is...so that is super exciting :) Jeff is convinced it's a girl so we'll see!!
